About Our Veterinarians

Dr. Susan Lewis
Dr. Lewis, an Ann Arbor native, graduated from Michigan State University in 1978. She started her career in Washington State in a large and small animal practice, then spent a year in St. Thomas US VI, and eight years in Maryland before returning to Michigan in 1988.
Dr Lewis has always had a passion for client education (both her parents are educators) and exotic medicine. In 1998 she combined these passions and founded All Creatures Animal Clinic. Dr Lewis has 2 sons, Jason a business student at Indiana University, and Chris who founded Steel Jaw Kennels and breeds Dogo Canarios west of Ann Arbor. She enjoys travel, outdoor activities, sailing,jogging, and reading.
Dr. Lyssa Alexander
Dr. Alexander is an Ann Arbor native and recent graduate from Michigan State University. Her main interests are internal medicine, ophthalmology and exotic animal medicine.
She lives in Ann Arbor with her husband Julius, dog, 2 cats, rabbit , turtle and goldfish. She enjoys board games, martial arts, walking down town for ice cream and hanging out with her family.
About Our Office Manager
Brandi
Brandi is an Ann Arbor native and a University of Michigan graduate with a background in Anthropology, Business and Office Administration and work experience in medical offices for both people and animals. Brandi was originally a client here at All Creatures and her belief in the doctors, staff and mission statement of the business led her to join the team. Her favorite part of the job is sharing stories and laughs with people about their furry companions. Brandi also enjoys reading, crafting and most of all spending time with her beautiful angel-beagle, Chi-Chi Lu, and her new beagle boy, Deogi.
About Our Technician Team
Samantha - Head Technician, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Samantha is a graduate of Baker college in Jackson. Samantha's favorite part of her job is getting to know all the clients and their pets, and doing laboratory work. When not at All Creatures Clinic Samantha enjoys spending time with her own animals; a french bulldog, a mini english bulldog, two chihuahuas, a bearded dragon and her orange tabby cat. She also enjoys movies and scrap booking.
Sondra- Licensed Veterinary Technician, Inventory Coordinator
Sondra is a graduate from Stautzenberger College. She has been an animal lover all of her life and currently shares her home with a variety of critters, including two boxers, Jack and Lexie, her Beagle, Shelby, her 8 cats, and her bearded dragons. Sondra loves everything about her career, but really enjoys talking with clients about their pets. In her spare time, Sondra enjoys bowling, ceramics and spending time with her family.
Carol- Licensed Veterinary Technician
Carol grew up on a farm in Indiana before graduating from Ball State University with degrees in Anthropology and History. Carol attended the Vet Tech Institute of Ft. Wayne for her Vet Tech degree. Her favorite parts of her job are surgery, lab diagnostics and client interaction. She lives with her boxer, Tala, and her maine coon cat, Jester. Carol enjoys traveling, hiking, cake decorating and working the crew for a sprint car team.
Erin- Technician Assistant
Erin is originally from Lansing and moved to Ann Arbor in 2010. She has been working with animals, mostly cats and dogs, for over nine years and she looks forward to learning more about exotics. She has a passion for pitbulls and one day plans to join a pitbull rescue program. She spends her free time playing with her two orange cats, Gimley and Sherbert, watching movies and reading.
Lauren- Technician Assistant
Lauren is currently in the veterinary technology program at Stautzenberger College, graduating in 2012. Lauren graduated in the top of her class from Summerfield Highschool in 2006 and in the near future she hopes to adopt an English Bulldog to keep her ferret, Charlie, company. Along with her passion for animals, she is a huge Detroit Tigers fan and she enjoys traveling up north.
About Our Receptionist
Tiffany
Tiffany was born and raised near Tacoma, Washington and she attended Pima Medical Institute for Veterinary studies. She has spent the last 6 years as a veterinary assistant and receptionist at clinics in Washington and Michigan. She now lives in Ypsilanti with her husband and 3 cats. She enjoys traveling, scrapbooking and fishing.
About Our Groomer
Nikki
Nikki graduated top of her class at the Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology in Lansing in 2006. She has been a groomer for the last 5 years and believes that every animal should look and feel their best. As a dog and cat owner she has always been attentive to coat and skin care. She enjoys meeting new people and their pets everyday and wants to give you and your pet the best service possible.
